Tempe Water Conservation staff conducting a water consultation for a single family residence or HOA will:

• Walk residents or the property manager through the property to check for leaks
• Review irrigation controller (clock) settings
• Discuss past water use trends
• Make recommendations on ways to save water, improve plant health and reduce the utility bill

Residents with large landscapes and HOAs can request staff to generate a water conservation budget. The budget will provide an idea of how much water should be used at the property.

Tempe Water Conservation staff conducting a water consultation for a CII customer will:

• Discuss water use trends over time.
• Walk the property and check for leaks.
• For indoor consultations:
  •   Check the flow rates of all water using fixtures.
• For outdoor consultations:
  • Check the irrigation controller (clock) schedule
  • Run the system and check for inefficiencies
  • Make recommendations for plant health and watering frequencies
• Generate a report for the property manager that provides recommendations based on findings, best upgrade potential and RIO.

• Leave a voicemail with Tempe Water Conservation by calling 480-350-8351.  A staff member will return your call to schedule over the phone. Be sure to leave a message to include:
  • First and last name
  • Property/service address
  • Utility account number, if available.
  • Brief description of the nature of your consultation request

  • Email
  • Phone number (to contact the day of the consultation)
  • Service address 
  • Community gate code, if applicable
  • Utility account number, if available
  • Are you able to turn valves on and off? Yes or No
  • What would you like to learn in the consultation?
