The clubhouse at Ken McDonald Golf Course is ready for a refresh! Plans include a brand new clubhouse building, parking improvements and updates to the adjacent practice areas.

This project is jointly funded by the City of Tempe and CourseCo, which currently operates and maintains the course through a long-term public-private partnership

August - October 2024

Phase 2, the formal design and construction documents phase, has started. City Council approved the design contract with Douglas Fredrickson Architects (DFA) in August. Chasse Building Team was selected as the Construction Manager at Risk in September. Concurrently, design for an irrigation replacement on the course is in process with the selection of Russell D. Mitchell and Associates (RMA) as consultant. All work is being carefully coordinated to ensure maximum efficiency and to minimize disruption.
