Beyond your bin, there is a dedicated team of highly-skilled professionals working to ensure your trash, recycling and green waste is disposed or repurposed properly in a timely and reliable manner. From equipment operators and fleet mechanics to customer services and administrative staff, a variety of professionals work together to ensure this critical service is provided to Tempe year-round.

Tempe’s solid waste and fleet staff make up the Public Works Department’s Field Operations Solid Waste Division. This division protects public health and safety by collecting, processing and transporting trash, recycling and green waste for proper disposal, reuse and repurposing.
