Holiday trees are not accepted in the trash container. Trees can be disposed of through green organics and bulk collection and drop off locations.
Disposal options
Remove tree stands, nails, ornaments, lights, garland and tinsel prior to disposal.

Drop-off holiday trees for composting Dec. 26 through Jan. 30 at 1001 N. Rio Road Tempe, AZ 85281, access at the intersection of Hardy Drive and Rio Salado Parkway.

Place holiday trees in the green organics pile during the scheduled week for bulk trash.

Drop-off holiday trees at the transfer station.
