Question 1: What if online incident reporting is not right for me?

Answer: If your incident is an emergency, call 9-1-1. If your incident is a non-emergency call 480-350-8311.

 

Question 2: What if this happened in another city. Can I file a report using this online police citizen reporting system?

Answer:  No, unless you are reporting Identity Theft. Any crime that took place outside of the City of Tempe must be reported to the agency responsible for the location where the crime occurred. Tempe Residents should report Identity Theft to the Tempe Police Department. 

 

Question 3: What if this happened on a state Freeway or Highway?

Answer: If this took place on a state Freeway or highway, please call the Highway Patrol Office nearest you.

 

Question 4: What is a known suspect?

Answer: A known suspect is when you or someone else knows the person or where to find the person who committed the crime or you obtained the license plate number of the suspect vehicle.
