Docent Guided - $150 flat rate
Are you hosting a family reunion, planning a team-building event, or scheduling outings for a senior living community? Bring your group to Eisendrath House, a 1930 Pueblo Revival home in the rolling desert next to Papago Park!
Large group private tours are intended for 11 to 20 people and last 60-90 minutes, depending on group size and tour pace. Tours are led by a Tempe History Museum guide.
Although Eisendrath House seemed isolated on a remote Tempe hillside, its residents maintained strong connections to Jewish culture, artistic accomplishment, and the wealthiest of social circles. Enjoy sweeping views while learning how this unique property is connected to tourism, the environment, and more.
The historic nature of Eisendrath House may affect accessibility for some people with mobility considerations. Entry to the house requires navigation of some uneven surfaces and walkways. The house has a lift to the second floor. There is one accessible space in the main parking lot and a second accessible space in the parking lot immediately behind the house.
Because this historic property is home to Tempe’s Public Art staff, some areas of the house are not included in tours.
Historic House Large Group Private Tours are not offered during the summer.
Contact the Museum Education Specialist to request an Eisendrath House Large Group Private Tour. Accepting requests for dates between October 1 and December 27, 2024.
