Exhibit Overview
Music has long been an important part of Tempe’s cultural landscape. The Tempe Sound exhibit featured instruments, photographs, memorabilia, audio and video from notable Tempe musicians and music venues. Visitors reconnected with artists that they were familiar with, and learned about other artists for the first time. Tempe has been a “music town” for many decades, and will continue to be a place where music is very important to the community.
