Tetra String Quartet Holiday Show
Friday, December 13 at 7 p.m.
Join the Tetra String Quartet for their annual holiday celebration and silent auction! This festive event will include pre-show entertainment, a pre- and post-concert reception, a silent auction, and a full concert performance by the Tetra String Quartet. A holiday themed program will be accompanied by an in-depth look at how Tetra is creating positive change in the community through their Play Out! initiative. This is a free event held in the museum’s Community Room. Donations are welcome to support Tetra’s free community programs and the 2024-2025 Tetra Chamber Music Institute.
Tindal Muzic
Friday, January 17 at 7 p.m.
Tindal Muzic is an alternative soul duo that met while teaching songwriting and instrumentation at a rock camp for youth. They were brought together by their shared love of musical influence such as Sade, Erykah Badu, the trip-hop/alternative movements of the 1990s and soul music from the ‘70s and ‘80s. This free event will be held in the museum’s Community Room.
The Psychedelephants Play HAZEL
Friday, February 28 at 7 p.m.
The Tempe History Museum presents a visually enhanced experience of 60’s spy rock as The Psychedelephants perform their 3rd full length album, HAZEL: A Graphic Novel Soundtrack, in its entirety. Lead singer Paul Balazs' comic book, HAZEL, has been turned into a projected movie that will play in sync with the live band in real-time. Joining The Psychedelephants will be a 4-piece horn section and extra percussion. This free event will be held in the museum’s Community Room.
