The museum collection consists of artifacts, archives and photographs related to Tempe's history. It is the responsibility of the museum to collect and preserve these items for current and future generations. The collection items are used in research and in exhibits to share the unique stories of our city and its people.

Items are continually added to the collection through donations. Items that help tell the stories of Tempe's history may be considered for donation to the collection by contacting Senior Curator of Collections Josh Roffler

Currently a selection of the museum's artifacts are on display in our permanent exhibit, Tempe: Diverse, Distinct, Dynamic and in featured exhibits such as Trains of Tempe. Our collection can be explored in the exhibits and on-line through our new eMuseum portal. On-line access allows the items to be accessible while preserving the condition of the original piece. We encourage you to explore eMuseum here.
