The museum explores Tempe history through collections, research services, exhibits, and programs that captivate and connect with audiences throughout the community and beyond.

Visitors can explore four thematic areas: College Town, Building Our Community, Living Together and Surviving in the Desert. Our Kid's Place children's gallery offers young visitors the chance to explore, play and spend time with family and new friends.

The museum also curates a changing gallery space in the main exhibit hall, as well as exhibit space in the Community Room.

Tempe History Museum also manages the historic Petersen House Museum at Priest and Southern, Eisendrath House on College Avenue and Elias-Rodriguez House on 8th Street.
