The City of Tempe’s iconic concrete monuments have marked every park, golf course and park facility since the late 1980s, welcoming visitors to our spaces and places. After the wear and tear of nearly 40 years, it’s time for an update. The city has been working with a design consultant since June 2022 to create options for new monument signage for our parks system that reflects our community and will last for decades to come.
