Dwight Park is now open! 

Construction at Dwight Park began May 2023 and was completed August 2023.

In addition to the new picnic ramada, Dwight Park improvements included new concrete, new lighting, and new landscape and trees. 

The improvements will be funded out of the city’s Capital Improvement Program budget, as part of the Parks Improvement Plan, which is reinvesting more than $60 million into Tempe parks over the next five years.
