The new facilities will be open year-round to serve as a community hub, offering classes, programs and services for a range of ages, interests and abilities.

Clark Park Pool & Community Center Update

These improvements are currently funded in the city’s Capital Improvement Program budget, as part of the Parks Improvement Plan, which is reinvesting almost $70 million into Tempe parks over the next several years.

In 2018, the City of Tempe gathered neighborhood input on what aquatic amenity was preferred in Clark Park. Area neighbors were invited to participate in a discussion regarding the future use of the pool area as well as how that may impact other park uses, such as the community garden. Since then, additional community feedback has been used to develop a preferred concept for Clark Park and community center and pool improvements.
