Construction for a new restroom facility at the Benedict Sports Complex began November 16, 2020 and was completed in April 2021. 

The improvements were funded out of the city’s Capital Improvement Program budget, as part of the Parks Improvement Plan, which is reinvesting more than $60 million into Tempe parks over the next few years.
