The Kiwanis Park Management Plan provides guidelines for future programming, amenities, facilities and operational needs of the park and recreation center.

The management planning process included extensive research and analysis into how Kiwanis Park and the recreation center are used today. It also included an inventory of existing assets and an assessment of current programming.  A consultant was hired to conduct the research and develop the management plan.

The Kiwanis Park Management Plan process was underway concurrently with the Parks and Recreation Master Plan, which will identify a long-term vision for all of Tempe’s parks and recreation programs. The Kiwanis Park Management plan complements the larger, citywide parks vision.
