The Escalante Early Childhood Program offers a variety of organized activities for preschool children, ages 3-5.  The program’s emphasis is on developing social, motor, and cognitive skills in a fun, safe, and educational setting. A limited number of slots are available. Registration is on a first come, first served basis and will be available online and in person at the Escalante Community Center. 

Tiny Tots

Tiny Tots Program, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for 3 and 4 year olds.

This program allows 3 and 4 year olds to interact with others their age while developing listening and motor skills through story time, singing, and movement. 

Fee: $160, per semester for Tiny Tots

Kinder-Readiness 

Kinder-Readiness Program, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for 4 and 5 year olds.

This program is great for students who have participated in a Preschool classroom and will be entering Kindergarten, fall of the following year.  Student must be 100% potty-trained.

Fee: $180, per semester for Kinder-Readiness

*Registration will take place in person and online for this session. Please note that if you register online you will be sent a follow up email within 24 hours of registering. You will need to complete the attached documents in that email and have them returned by the due date listed in the email in order to secure your student's spot. If the documents are not returned by the due date, the student will lose their spot for Fall 2025.

KinderKids

The Escalante Community Center offers a free after-school program for students 5 years old and enrolled in Kindergarten.  “KinderKids” offers homework help, organized activities for students, a daily snack, themed crafts, fitness, and music, while reinforcing and developing social, motor and cognitive skills, in a classroom just for them. 

To register for KinderKids parents will need to provide their photo ID, proof of the student's Elementary School Kindergarten enrollment, and the child's birth certificate.  Registration is done on a first come first served basis and done in person at the Escalante Community Center. 

KinderKids 2024-2025 is currently full.  The waitlist is open.

After School Program

The 2023-2024 After School Program will begin July 19th.   All students in 1st thru 5th grade will participate in the After School Program, Monday thru Thursday from 3-6:00 p.m. and Fridays from 1-6:00 p.m.   

The After School Program 2024-2025 is currently full.  The waitlist is open.

Fall Indoor Soccer Academy

Introduce your child to the joys of the world's most popular sport.  Fee: $15.

Fall Indoor Soccer League

This is a non-competitive, instructional league for boys and girls ages 4-10. Skills training will be offered the first two Saturdays of the program. Games will be played on the remaining Saturdays.  Fee: $25.

Toddler Parent Free Play

Drop in for a morning of free play with your little one.  Join other parents and let your children roam free while playing with different toddler safe toys.  Play time is not super vised by staff.  Fee: $2.

Parents Night Out

Parents have a night out on the town.  Escalante staff will provide a fun filled evening for your child.  They will participate in games, play in the gym, watch movies or make arts and crafts.  Pizza, drinks, snacks will be provided.  Fee: $15.

Teen Program

The Escalante Teen Room is open for drop-in activities Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays from 3:00-7:45 PM, Wednesdays from 2:00-7:45 PM, and Fridays from 1:00-7:45 PM, Saturdays 10:00 AM -4:45 PM and Sundays from 1:00-5:45 PM. 

Fall Activities

Escalante Vibe Tribe

Join Escalante teens every Friday to learn different types of dance with Miss Chanel.  Miss Chanel will introduce teens to dance while helping them gain confidence and community.  Teens must have a Drop In membership to participate in the Fall Vibe Tribe. 

13-18 yrs  F  4:00-5:30 pm

Run Club

Join Escalante every Friday from 3:30-4:30PM.  We will be training to run a 5K on September 21st.  Run Club will continue to meet after the September 5K to continue to work on our fitness and focus on living a healthy lifestyle.  All participants in the Escalante Run Club must have a Escalante Drop In membership.
