Flag Football Mission Statement:

The Flag Football program has been specifically designed to introduce young student athletes to the game of football, while providing a fun and safe environment to grow and evolve in the sport. Players learn lessons in teamwork and develop skills to help them succeed on and off the field.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW: 

• Tempe offers quality flag football instruction for K- 8th grades. Male and female student athletes of all skill levels are invited to play.
• League meets one day per week for eight weeks. Football camp is held the first two weeks. Regular season is comprised of weekly practice, immediately followed by game. Games are played under field lights.
• Participants are taught 7 on 7 football concept and are introduced to offense, defense and special teams.
