Tempe Works is an innovative jobs program approved by the Tempe City Council in 2017 to help unsheltered individuals improve self-sufficiency and achieve an end to their homelessness.

The first-of-its kind program provides support to individuals experiencing homelessness in Tempe through stable employment and housing. The program brings together several partners, including city staff, Tempe Community Action Agency, Corporate Job Bank and other nonprofit and community partners.

Partner with us

Tempe is always looking for businesses who want to partner with Tempe Works. Businesses can meet their employment needs and help participants on their path to self-sufficiency. The city is seeking local employers who have:

  • Temporary and permanent positions available
  • Daily supervision processes in place
  • Consistent mentorship strategies for Tempe Works participants
  • Opportunities for promotion for Tempe Works graduates
