Resource center
Through Community Health and Human Services, the EnVision Center offers year-round programs and services, workshops and more. By partnering with local nonprofit organizations, the center is able to expand its programming and bring even more resources under one roof. Resources are available to the entire Tempe community.
Resilience Hub
Through the Sustainability and Resilience Division, the EnVision Center is the city's first resilience hub, community facilities designed to assist residents in their daily lives, respond effectively during emergencies, and aid in recovery. Through the center, staff will be offering emergency preparedness workshops that can provide residents with the education and resources to better respond to big and small disruptions. It will eventually be equipped with solar power and battery storage, making it a Resilient Energy Hub.

The city has partnered with IDIA (The Institute for Digital Inclusion Acceleration), to bring The Hive to Tempe. This location is the largest in IDIA’s Hive network and is the first location to include a stand-alone telehealth room.
In addition to accessing the internet and receiving one-on-one tech support, visitors to The Hive can use on-site resources for:
- Telehealth appointments
- Creating podcasts
- Stop-motion film making
- VR (Virtual Reality)

Coming soon: signature artwork
The City of Tempe has commissioned local artist Paige Reesor to create a signature artwork for the center. Reesor’s design integrates the theme “Boundless Opportunity” into a mural that transforms Tempe’s Mill Avenue Bridge and pathways into a metaphor for personal growth and exploration. The mural conveys that diverse paths to success are enriched by communal connections. The painting is expected to be complete by the end of 2024.
