How to Register

PLEASE ALLOW FOR 2 FULL BUSINESS DAYS FOR PAPERWORK PROCESSING
(Example: Registrations received on Monday can start on Wednesday)

• Complete registration packet- linked above
  (please provide a UserID, located on the first page)
• Save as PDF and email to KidZone@tempe.gov OR print and drop off at our Kid Zone office located at the Edna Vihel Arts building.
  Hours:  Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
• Please include a copy of your child/ren Immunization Records.

Once we receive your completed paper work, we will start the process of creating your account for the parent portal.

• You will receive an email with your account information and portal link.
• Once logged in, you will click on Enroll Child to start your enrollment request.
  -If you are interested in both before and afterschool care, you will have to submit two enrollment requests. 

Enrollment Fees/Schedules

5 Days a Week - $223/month**

3 Days a Week - $181/month

1 Day a Week - $101/month

AM Program - $88/month**

Miscellaneous Fees

Document Retrieval - $0.25 per page - For each request for records, if documents are still available.  Request may require legal approval. Payable prior to legal retrieval. 

Finders Fee - $10 first time; $20 each additional - Charged to each account when a parent fails to notify staff of a child's absence and Missing Child Procedures need to be completed. $30 charge will be assessed if the police department is notified.

Late Payment - $25 - Assessed to payments not received by the 14th of every month. Late fees will be added on the 15th. 

Late Pick Up - $15 - Assessed for every 15 minutes for any pick-up that occurs after 6pm.  More than 5 per semester will result in dismissal from program.

Registration Fee - $50 - Non-Refundable fee per child to be paid at time on registration.

Reinstatement Fee - $20 - Assessed to each child previously withdrawn and requesting to re-enter the program within same year.

NSF Fee - $25 - Assessed after a returned check.

Schedule Change Fee - $10 - Assessed after 4 schedule changes per year.

Administration Fee - $15 - Fee for Break Camps and Summer Programs.
