I attended kindergarten, elementary, middle and high school in Mexico, and attended college in the U.S. I have always acquired high academic distinction in all my schools. I am a first-generation student, considering my parents didn’t attend college since they studied in Mexico. I am pursing an Industrial Engineering major, therefore, I would like to work in factories or industries, either in an office or in a shop floor, as a project management probably. I am bilingual, and my first language is Spanish.

Have an in-person advising session at the College Connect Office! Located on the main floor of the Tempe Public Library. Please note that all six schools in the Tempe Union High School District has an assigned advisor who is on campus. Each campus has it's own bookings link that you can find above.

Walk-Ins are welcome, however, we highly recommend that you Book an Appointment to ensure you can meet with an advisor.

• Only College Connect Advisors can initiate a virtual advising session
• Virtual advising sessions will only be conducted through the City of Tempe Accounts
• All virtual sessions will be scheduled ahead of time. Drop-ins are not available
• College Connect Advisors and students have the right to end a session as necessary including, but not limited to security and safety issues
• College Connect Advisors are required to report any abuse, neglect, self harm or concerning behavior they may witness during a video session.
• All communication with College Connect Advisors or staff will be conducted through a City of Tempe platform using a City of Tempe email or phone number.
• Students will not be asked to share personal identifying information through email or text.
