AARP Foundation Experience Corps

AARP Foundation Experience Corps is an established partnership between the Tempe Elementary School district and the City of Tempe that pairs highly trained senior volunteers with children in grades 

1 – 3 who are at risk of not reaching critical reading goals. Volunteers meet with children in one-on-one tutoring sessions for an entire school year. Both the seniors and the students benefit by building relationships and working to achieve important reading goals.
