Preliminary building code and engineering private development questions to permitcenter@tempe.gov

Effective Jan. 14^th, 2019, all building permit applications for single family residential projects must be submitted using Tempe's Accela Citizen Access Portal.  The portal allows users to submit projects at any time of the day, seven days a week from your computer. This saves time and makes the process easier for those submitting applications.

Questions regarding how to use the portal may email permitcenter@tempe.gov or call 480-350-4311 and ask to speak to the Permit Center.

Initial plan review comments are returned via the portal and once plans are approved, the building permit is issued via the portal.
