Based on resident request, the City of Tempe is considering the installation of speed cushions along Lakeshore Drive between Elliot Road and Carver Road. Based on the City’s review, the corridor has met the criteria for traffic calming as outlined in the City of Tempe Neighborhood Traffic Calming Guide. The city is surveying the properties outlined on the map in the neighborhoods of Carver Terrace, Hamilton Homes and Sunburst Farms in order to determine if there is neighborhood support for the installation of speed cushions.
