Based on resident request, the City of Tempe is considering the installation of speed cushions along Beck Avenue/ Cornell Drive between Baseline Road and Hardy Drive. Based on the City’s review, the corridor has met the criteria for traffic calming outlined in the City of Tempe Neighborhood Traffic Calming Guide. The city is surveying the neighborhood of Wood Park in order to determine if there is neighborhood support for installation of speed cushions.
