The Arts & Culture Division develops and manages the city's arts and culture programs and services including Tempe Community Arts and Tempe Public Art. Tempe is dedicated to enriching the lives of the local and extended community by providing life-long engagement through accessible cultural, social, and educational experiences.

 Saturday, October 26, 4 to 8 p.m. 

Join us for the opening of the exhibit “Taking Space: An Arizona Roller Derby Retrospective”. This exhibit celebrates 21 years of Arizona roller derby, showcasing roller derby’s unique blend of athleticism, community, and culture. Discover and celebrate the incredible stories of its athletes and learn about the sport's powerful sense of community. This free event will include roller skating, a DJ, interactive crafts, food trucks and more! Don't miss this unique opportunity to engage with the sport's vibrant history and contribute to its future in Arizona! Held in the Tempe History Museum’s Community Room and museum parking lot, 809 E. Southern Ave., Tempe, AZ 85282.
