Moderated by guest curator Granville Carroll

Join the Gallery at TCA for a lively discussion about the Reclaiming Hope: Afrofuturist Visions exhibition. This panel talk is moderated by guest curator Granville Carroll and ASU professor Dr. Jenna Hanchey. During the discussion, moderators will dive into questions about process, inspiration and meaning with artists Alanna Airitam, Elizabeth Burden and Elizabeth Denneau. Participants will learn about the Afrofuturism genre and explore how these Black female artists approach and connect with exhibition themes like healing, mindfulness, hope and reclamation. Audience members will also have the opportunity to ask questions of this distinguished panel.
