Kiwanis sidewalks and bike lanes

  • Date: 09/09/2024  (all day)

As part of the City of Tempe’s Stormwater Monitoring Station Upgrade Project, improvements will begin in early September. Residence access will be maintained during this project. Portions of parking and the bike lane in the project area will be closed daily during work hours to accommodate construction. For short periods of time throughout the day, both sidewalk paths will be closed at alternating times while maintaining pedestrian traffic through the general area of construction. Fencing will be around the project site. Please use extra care when driving, biking and walking around construction zones and observe all posted traffic and parking restrictions. We appreciate your patience as we work to enhance this vital water utilities asset.

Anticipated project timeline: Sept. 9 through December

Project Area: Kiwanis Park- Mill Avenue between Duke and Oxford Drives

Work hours: Weekdays, Sept. 9-Oct. 15, 6 a.m.-3 p.m.

Oct. 16 through December, 7 a.m.-3 p.m.

*Project dates and times are subject to change
