The Arts & Culture Division develops and manages the city's arts and culture programs and services including Tempe Community Arts and Tempe Public Art. Tempe is dedicated to enriching the lives of the local and extended community by providing life-long engagement through accessible cultural, social, and educational experiences.

African American Advisory Committee of Tempe History Museum presents

11th Annual Juneteenth Celebration

Saturday, June 15, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Juneteenth 2024

The African American Advisory Committee is presenting the 11th Annual Juneteenth Celebration to educate the community and celebrate freedom from slavery in the United States. The celebration will be held at the Tempe History Museum, 809 E Southern Avenue, Tempe. This free, family-friendly event will include hands-on activities and performances, community resources, story time, Police and Fire vehicles, food trucks and more!
