PERFORMANCES at the MUSEUM: The Blood Feud Family Singers

PERFORMANCES at the MUSEUM

The Blood Feud Family Singers

Friday, January 19, at 7 p.m.

Blood Feud Family Singers - Mike Williams

The Blood Feud Family Singers play up-tempo, down-hearted, poetic-philosophic, country-fried hostility for sentimental haters. In more concrete terms, the five-piece band uses upright bass, fiddle and guitars to combine the literate menace of Leonard Cohen and Elvis Costello with the energetic twang of alt-country acts like the Old 97s. This unique band defies definition; their sound has elements of bluegrass, Americana and is infused with what bassist/vocalist Marc Oxborrow calls “a Motown bounce”. The group has been featured on a KJZZ’ Tiny Desert Concert, can be found on Apple Music, Spotify and other music platforms, and featured in Phoenix New Times. Don’t miss this chance to experience Blood Feud Family Singers at this free Performance at the Museum series concert in January at Tempe History Museum.
