The Tempe Veterans Commission advises the Mayor and City Council and assists City departments on veteran programs, policies, and practices designed to improve the quality of life for veterans in Tempe; educates the community on the status of veterans’ rights, needs, and contributions to the community; and, recommends ways to strengthen existing services for veterans while pursuing the creation of new program and service opportunities. 

POSTPONED: Veterans Town Hall Oct. 19

The City of Tempe Veterans Commission is postponing its Oct. 19 Town Hall designed to raise awareness and educate the community about toxic exposure. According to the Arizona Open Meeting Law, the Tempe Veterans Commission may only discuss matters listed on the Veterans Commission Agenda. The City of Tempe endeavors to make all public meetings accessible to persons with disabilities.
