In partnership with the Army Corps of Engineers, the city continues the work of adding to the more than seven miles of paths along Rio Salado and Tempe Town Lake. This project links existing pathways on the north bank of Tempe Town Lake and the Indian Bend Wash directly to McClintock Drive. The project will include a paved multi-use path with lighting, landscaping and fencing consistent with the city’s shared-use path standards. These linkages provide important connections to established pathways to and from Scottsdale, Mesa, Tempe Marketplace, and housing and recreational centers.
