2021 

In June 2021, the Community Arts team partnered with the Tempe Diablos for the first Tempe Jam. Six Tempe-based musicians showcased their talents live. There was something for every musical palette, with genres ranging from cumbia to hip-hop to rock. Bands included Remi Goode, Grupo BombAZo, Rozotadi, The Chicharras, Banana Gun and Chrome Rhino. Local artist Drew Hernandez designed the t-shirt.

2022

Tempe Jam returned in 2022 with a stellar lineup of performances and an interactive art activity. Local talent including The Stakes, Paper Foxes and Banana Gun took the stage to rock out. Attendees also had the opportunity to watch performances by the Sacred Gs, grab a drink from the beer and wine garden provided by Tempe Diablos, and eat a meal at food trucks. Local artist Lizzy Lubitsky designed a t-shirt that attendees could tie-dye for free at the event.

2023

Returning in 2023, Tempe Jam was bigger and better than ever! Live performances included Tempe Playlist artists Pijama Piyama and Prime Society, with the event hosted by Hayley Green. Attendees were amazed by live fire performances by Walter Productions and visits from the Sacred Gs street dance troupe. Local artist Kelsey Phillips designed an exclusive t-shirt that was live printed at the event by Barrel Maker Printing. With additional arts activities, Tempe Diablos Beer Garden and a fleet of local food truck vendors, there was something for everyone at Tempe Jam!
