2008 Humanitarian of the Year
Tempe
Community Council is honored to announce that Pen Johnson has been selected
as the 2008 Humanitarian of the Year. Mr. Johnson was chosen for the
outstanding service and tireless dedication he has provided to our
community. He has made Tempe a better place to live for all of us and has
contributed significantly to our way of life.
In celebration
of the 25th Anniversary of the Don Carlos Awards, TCC will also present for the
first time in 2008, the Guiding Light Philanthropist of the Year Award.

The Tempe Diablos have
been selected for exemplifying the spirit of philanthropy through
their extraordinary support of the
Tempe community.
Tempe Community Council believes it is important to
recognize the members of our community who have a direct impact on the
success of human service programs here in Tempe through their generous financial
support.

Chang's Rock 'N' Roll Arizona Marathon 1/2 Marathon!
TEAM TEMPE is a community-wide effort to raise money for human
service needs in Tempe and the surrounding communities. This is
a fun way to get healthy and help those in need.
You can participate in a training program,
collect pledges to support local nonprofits plus have the chance
to win prizes, free entry to the race and more!
