Biographies
The Biographical Database contains brief biographical entries and genealogies for more
than 5000 individuals who lived in Tempe. Museum staff and volunteers are continuing
research to include information on all families that arrived in Tempe before 1920, as well
as anyone who has played an important role in the community, right up to the present.
These database records are based on federal census records, newspaper articles,
obituaries, church records, cemetery records, city directories, family papers, and
interviews with living family members.
