The Tempe Public Library will be closed on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 in observation of Veterans Day.

The Tempe Diablos are funding Live Homework Help which allows free online tutoring for students via their Tempe Public Library card.

Free online materials to help with resumes, job searching, interviewing, GED preparation, and Citizenship process.  Talk online to a resource center representative daily from 3:00 - 10:00 PM using your Tempe Public Library card from your home computer or a library computer.  This service is provided with funding from the Tempe Diablos.

The Arizona State Library and Archives has launched a webpage for assisting Arizonans during these tough economic times.  The site links users to tools for work, parenting, finance, housing, health, and also tools for seniors.

Hey all you sleuth enthusiasts out there … come join mystery fans monthly at 10 A.M. on the first Saturday of every month in the Connections Café to discuss favorite mystery books and authors. Have your turn leading the discussion if you like, or join in the probing conversation. Participants must provide their own copies of the books being discussed.
