I understand that by expressing interest, my business is under no obligation to join the TGC, but will be contacted by the City when the opportunity to enroll becomes available, and provided with detailed terms of enrollment for consideration. I have completed the survey below, identifying which possible benefits of the program are the most important in determining my restaurant’s interest in TGC membership.

a. Quality Assurance: My restaurant receives the services that I pay for and expect from hired vendors, resulting in better plumbing infrastructure and fewer grease-related problems.
b. Advocacy: the City deals with the vendor on my quality issues, complaints, or other concerns, serving my restaurant’s interests and ensuring service meets expectations.
c. Odors and Backups: Grease-related odors and plumbing backups are a thing of the past, and no longer disrupt my operation or my customers’ dining experiences.
d. Infrastructure Assessments: The City provides my business with periodic, no-cost televised assessments upon request to diagnose problems and causes of odors and plumbing backups.
e. Site Cleanliness: The vendors have clean vehicles and uniforms, do not look “unsightly” while servicing my restaurant, and leave no mess behind after service.

a. Lower service cost: By servicing multiple “member” restaurants under the same contract, my costs for like services are reduced.
b. Rebates: Year-one rebates of cost differential for members that demonstrate lower compliance costs in previous years, providing assurance that my compliance costs don’t increase upon enrollment.
c. Grease Dividends: Year-end dividend payments are calculated and issued based on the City’s measured savings in wastewater treatment costs, rewarding my restaurant for its participation in the program and the value it provides.
d. Finder’s Fees: Reward payments to member restaurants when we recruit non-member restaurants into the Cooperative.
e. Infrastructure Assistance: Financial assistance (loans or grants) to members needing infrastructure upgrades to allow the City to effectively manage our grease and secure it for renewable energy generation.
3. Community and Environmental Sustainability

a. Sustaining Community Infrastructure: My restaurant’s participation helps create a more sustainable community and more sustainable infrastructure for all of us, by effectively capturing our waste grease before it enters the City’s sewer system.
b. Proper Disposition: My participation ensures that waste grease removed from my property is disposed of legally, properly, and in an environmentally friendly manner.
c. Renewable Energy: Utilizing my waste grease for renewable energy production.
d. Building Partnerships: My membership adds value to my community and business through strengthened partnerships with the City and neighbor restaurants.
4. Administrative

a. Less Hassle: No longer having to worry about scheduling, contracting, and managing my grease trap and interceptor maintenance.
b. Billing: Being billed directly by the City, with options for paperless billing, and on-line or auto-payment.
c. Enrollment: Enrolling or withdrawing by phone, email, or on-line within minutes, and without hassle.
d. Advisory Committee: Establishment of member advisory committee, elected by our member restaurants, to provide collective feedback to the City on its administration of the program and other TGC business.
5. Compliance Assurance

Regular visits from the TGC’s “Grease Squad” to ensure that my restaurant receives quality service instead of periodic inspections to evaluate my restaurant’s compliance with the City’s ordinance requirements.
