The Police Citizens Review Board was established for review of police complaints and use of force. The Board is composed of fifteen (15) members and four (4) police department members consisting of two (2) sergeants and two (2) line level officers, who shall serve for a two (2) year term. The members of the Board shall be selected from Tempe residents. Terms of service for citizen members shall be three years in length and citizen members may not serve more than two complete consecutive terms. The Chief of Police shall select four police department employees to serve as members of the Board. (City Code Chapter 2, Art. V, Div. 12)
