Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Controls Retrofit
Upgrades will be made to the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) controls to standardize on the Delta DDC system and upgrade the system to function as a City-wide web-based networked control system to allow Facilities personnel to monitor and control all networked buildings from any web-accessible workstation.

Premium Efficiency Pump Motors
Standard efficiency pump motors will be replaced with premium efficiency motors with increased electrical efficiency.

Rooftop Unit Replacement
Old HVAC units will be removed and replaced with new, higher efficiency models. Units with higher SEER and EER values are now available, compared with those which were available 8 to 15 years ago. Units considered for replacement include packaged rooftop gaspack and heat pumps 8 years or older.

Split System Replacement
Old HVAC units will be removed and replaced with new, higher efficiency models. Units with higher SEER and EER values are now available, compared with those which were available 8 to 15 years ago. Units considered for replacement include split system AC units 15 years old or older, and various additional units identified by City personnel as in need of replacement.
