Tempe's FREE local area shuttle serves Arizona State University and downtown Tempe on weekdays. All FLASH buses are wheelchair accessible and equipped with two bike racks. Flash Forward operates in the clockwise direction and Flash Back operates in the counterclockwise direction.
Detour: FLASH routes detoured until further notice
Due to closure of ASU's Lot 59, the following detours will be in effect starting Monday, May 13 and will remain in place until further notice for FLASH Back, Forward routes:
• Northbound to Lot 59: Regular route east on 6th Street to Packard Drive; continue east on 6th Street to Rural Road; north on Rural to Rio Salado Pkwy.; west on Rio Salado Pkwy. to Packard Drive; south on Packard to begin southbound trip.
• Southbound to ASU campus: From Packard Drive at Rio Salado Pkwy.; south on Packard Drive to resume regular route.
The following detours will be in effect May 28 through June 5:
FLASH Back – Regular route east on Apache Blvd. to McAllister Ave.; east on Apache Blvd. to Rural Rd.; north on Rural Rd. to Lemon St.; west on Lemon St. to McAllister Ave.; north on McAllister Ave. to resume regular route.
Regular Hours:
Flash Forward: Monday thru Thursday 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. & Friday 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. every 10 minutes
Flash Back: Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every 10 minutes
Flash McAllister: Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. every 30 minutes
Limited Flash Service Hours: Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
