Arizona State Law has statutory requirements for adopting a General Plan that the City of Tempe and all Arizona cities must follow. The City of Tempe is following those requirements. Tempe also wishes to have substantial public input in this process and has a variety of ways to ensure the community has an opportunity to participate. The city also has created a Community Working Group to help residents have even more representation in the process.

Members of the GP2040 Community Working Group
These will be chosen after Oct. 15. Look to this page for a list of these members. Contact them through gp2040@tempe.gov
