On July 22, routing changes to bus routes 56 and 108 will occur in Tempe, Phoenix and Chandler. Route 56 will now provide service on Priest Drive from Elliot Road to Ray Road and in Chandler and Phoenix along Ray Road between 56th Street and 48th Street. The route 108 will be extended to serve the Ahwatukee area on Elliot Road and 48th Street to Frye Road, with peak trips extended to serve the 40th Street & Pecos Park and Ride.
Comments on the proposed changes were taken from Feb. 1 through Feb. 18. Public meetings were held Feb 6 and 9.

Tempe values its transit riders and strives to provide the highest quality and most cost effective transit service to the community. Oversight of transit funds require regular evaluation of the transit system performance to ensure resources are properly allocated to deliver an equitable, cost-effective and fiscally sustainable program that works for the entire community.
Know your rights under Title VI - The city of Tempe, under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and related statutes, must ensure that no person in the city of Tempe shall, on the grounds of race, color, national origin, sex, disability and age, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any federally funded program or activity it administers.
Customer Rights and Grievances - Passengers using federally funded public transit should have equal access, seating and treatment. Complaints for non-compliance with Title VI and related statutes may be lodged with Valley Metro customer service at 602-253-5000 (TTY 602-261-8208). Complaints that customer service receives are documented and assigned to the appropriate transit staff for investigation in accordance with federal standards. After processing the complaint, customer service will respond to the complainant and, if warranted by the investigation, take appropriate action. The city of Phoenix Public Transit Department is responsible for monitoring this process and completed reports.
