Whose Names are Unknown: Songs of the 1930s: An evening with the 198 String Band
The 198 String Band presents a live performance of mostly unknown songs from the 1930s. These are performed against a backdrop of compelling Depression-era documentary photographs on a large screen. Sequences of the songs and streaming images are interwoven with historical narration and comments on the background of the songs, presenting the period documents in context. In partnership with the ASU Public History Program.
