The trout are making their annual pre-Thanksgiving comeback to Tempe!
On Tuesday, Nov. 20, the City of Tempe and Arizona Game and Fish will release thousands of trout into Tempe Town Lake. Families and community members are welcome to attend the event from 3-5 p.m. at Town Lake Marina, located on the north bank of Town Lake. Arizona Game and Fish will provide fishing gear, bait and instruction for all ages to try their hand at fishing for free. No fishing license will be required for those registered at the event.
