| Application packet must contain the following: |

State of Arizona liquor license application
City of Tempe liquor license application (processing takes approximately 60 days) |

| All individuals listed as owners on the State of Arizona liquor application must submit fingerprints to the Tempe Police Department |

| Application packet is processed by: |

1. Building Safety
2. Development Services
3. Fire Prevention
4. Police Department
5. Maricopa County Health Department |
| |
|
| A public hearing notice is posted at the business location for 20 days |
| |
|
| City Council public hearing is held |
| |
|
| City Council recommendation is forwarded to the State Department of Liquor Licenses and Control |
| |
|
| Tempe liquor license is issued after the State Department of Liquor Licenses and Control issues their liquor license |
| |
|
| A sales tax license is also required |
