City of Tempe, AZ : Building Codes and Amendments

Effective October 24, 2011, the City of Tempe adopted the 2009 International Building Codes with amendments.

The following codes and the City of Tempe Amendments thereto were adopted per Ordinance 2011.33:

Customers who submit an application for a building permit AFTER October 24, 2011 and BEFORE January 1, 2012, may elect to utilize the previous adopted 2006 code system listed here.
