Stormwater

The City of Tempe is committed to assure the quality of stormwater discharges from our municipal storm sewer system is managed to the maximum extent practicable. We have developed a Stormwater Management Plan designed to meet this commitment. The Stormwater Management Plan incorporates stormwater monitoring, public education, and a variety of best management practices.

These components are integrated to allow us to assess the quality of stormwater and identify areas where stormwater quality can be improved. Improvement to stormwater quality can be made through implementing management practices to control potential sources of pollution along with raising public awareness on proper use and disposal of products such as motor oil, antifreeze and pesticides. To report a concern, telephone (480) 350-4311 or complete a complaint form
