The Tempe Youth Wind Symphony is an honor group comprised of young musicians from Tempe middle schools and mentors from area high schools, who are chosen to provide fellowship and modeling. The group rehearses twice a week for three weeks and presents a free, public performance. The concert and all rehearsals are held at the Tempe Center for the Arts. The Tempe Youth Wind Symphony is coordinated by William J. Richardson and conducted by Douglas Akey.

Music Under the Stars

Parking is available in the US Airways Garage after 6 p.m. Enter off of Ash Avenue.

Music Under the Stars is a unique celebration of arts and music. The performance provides an inclusive community atmosphere. 

Pre-concert entrance music by the Corona del Sol Steel Drum Band.

The Tempe Youth Wind Symphony and Music Under the Stars are programs operated by the city of Tempe.
