When Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano convened her Council
on Innovation and Technology, Calence was among those chosen to advise the
state on new economy issues such as venture capital, technology transfer and
high-tech infrastructure. Three other Tempe-based companies also made the
final cut. Calence Inc. was also named to CRN's 25 Rising Stars report, an
award recognizing those companies who have found ways to grow rapidly during
these turbulent economic times.
Calence’s
corporate headquarters is in the Fountainhead Corporate Park. It overlooks
Tempe Diablo Stadium, where during Spring Training Baseball, consultants can
watch the World Series Champion Anaheim Angels hit home runs. The site is
also near four freeways and minutes from Sky Harbor International Airport.
Visiting guests can practically walk to three different hotels, including
the luxurious Buttes Resort.
